POSITION Master Cutter LOCATION Abu Dhabi, UAE The client will apply for the work visa and provide relocation if not local. JOB PURPOSE The Master Cutter is responsible for overseeing all fabric cutting and pattern-making operations, ensuring precision, efficiency, and alignment with design specifications. This role plays a critical part in transforming design concepts into high-quality garments by creating accurate patterns, optimizing fabric usage, and supporting the tailoring team to deliver exceptional finished products. QUALIFICATIONS High School Certificate or Diploma in Tailoring or related field Formal training in garment construction, pattern making, or fashion design is an advantage EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Minimum 7 years of experience in tailoring, with at least 3 years in a Master Cutter or similar senior role Strong expertise in pattern making, garment construction, and fabric cutting techniques Excellent knowledge of various fabric types and their handling requirements Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into accurate patterns Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cutting Creative mindset with a good sense of fashion and garment structure Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines Team player with the ability to guide and support tailors ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret design briefs and collaborate with designers or Head Tailor to develop patterns Draft, adapt, and create master patterns for various garment sizes Accurately mark fabrics to ensure efficient use of materials and minimize waste Cut fabric pieces precisely using appropriate tools and techniques Convert design concepts into workable garment components Indicate stitching details such as pleats, pockets, button placements, and seams Oversee and support sewing processes to ensure quality output Guide and mentor tailors on stitching techniques and garment construction Ensure all finished pieces meet required quality and design standards Maintain organized workflow and adhere to production timelines Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor SALARY 6000 AED, Tax Free in UAE BENEFITS Accommodation provided Transportation provided Medical insurance Annual leave as per labor law Flight ticket(s) as per contract every 2 years Visa and relocation support Please note: Kindly check your junk or spam mail folders after applying, as our response to your application may occasionally be diverted there.
